Bonsai Tools

Tools used in bonsai tools are unique and offer the user the means to express their taste for detail. Good tools don't need to be highly priced but functional. Many of our tools offer soft handles, spring returns and are made of carbon steel or stainless.
     For the bonsai hobbiest I feel there are five major tools to consider. Beginning with a pair of clippers for general pruning and trimming, add to this a pair of concave branch cutters. Use these tools for cutting and pruning both light and heavy branches. Next add wire cutters. Electricians use wire cutters, right! Not the same. A speciality tool in bonsai it allows the user to remove training wire(s) without pinching the tree. Finally add a root teaser (rake) for repotting and a pair of tweezers to help in detailing, and you have the five basic tools. We offer tools singlely packaged or consider a boxed set with your 5 basic tools wrapped in a reusable pouch.
