The nursery offers workshops throughout the year and is a invaluable tool to gain insight and knowledge in the field of bonsai . Workshops help inform students on the techniques used to design trees and control growth. Have fun in group settings creating a new tree from scratch to finish. Bring your own tree and get advice and your questions answered. Our workshops are designed to inform students on the care of their trees and help improve their design issues.
Discover the peace and solitude of the bonsai hobby while staying in touch with nature by carving a small piece out of your own. Avoid the common mistakes that many beginners make and have fun as well.
Workshops at Allshapes Bonsai Nursery are a great way to have your friends join in the fun. Reserve space and invite your birthday quest’s, garden club friends, wedding members, what ever and enjoy the time together. Bonsai is a great experience for anybody who enjoys the world of plants.
We offer group as well as one-on-one private training sessions in different techniques for a range of experience levels.

Have you always wanted to learn about bonsai but didn't know where to start or began reading conflicting information which only confused you? Growing bonsai is not difficult, they will grow for years and great for reducing stress. In fact our first bonsai is on display at the nursery after 30 years. Learn what it takes to make your own bonsai and keep them alive, not to mention you'll have a day of fun. Workshop includes all materials, plant, pottery, soil, wire, and instruction. October 15, 2011 9:30 – 1:00 “Maintaining Your Bonsai” $55.00 per person attending
Bring your bonsai or collection of trees to receive help in tree design, wiring, repotting, and general tree health. Course allows students to ask questions, get advice and direction in bonsai design and care. A class to equip students with hands-on confidence to help elevate their trees to the next level.
Courses includes up to 1 gal soil, use of tools if needed. Time 9:30 – 1:00 PM
